Inception Premiere in Rivercenter Mall

Following the release of the Riverwalk-inspired movie Inception, you too can now be part of the mind-bending magic, only on the world-famous Riverwalk!

The Texas world premiere of Christopher Nolan’s instant classic Inception took place in the Rivercenter Mall in IMAX 3D last Friday. Leads actors Leonardo DiCaprio and that pregnant girl from Juno joined a British guy who we found out was the director in Texas’ largest and favoritest place to buy clothes and Texacana.

Visit The Riverwalk’s Editor, Minton McKarkquey, caught up with the stars after the movie for an exclusive interview.

VTR: Great movie. How did Tommy Lee Jones turned you down?

Nolan: He didn’t.

VTR: It was a conflict on his busy schedule?

Nolan: Who is…?

VTR: Because you could have shot the film in the third dream within the dream and slowed down time so it would only have taken 15 minutes of a Happy Hour to shoot it?

Nolan: Which magazine are you from?

VTR: And where was Summer Glau? I know for a fact she’s not busy.

Although his bodyguards didn’t allow Nolan to answer, we knew that it was the studio that overturned his decision to cast her, so we presented him with a Visit The Riverwalk T-Shirt and Baseball Cap and a coupon for 50% off at Dick’s Last Resort.

Join the Inception Boat Tour

The Rio del Pasio Rio Boat People have just launched the Inception Boat Tour in response to enormous demand, rather than the “crap summer” the barge-pushers have been complaining about. Print out a copy of this website for a 10% coupon to take part in a truly unmissable experience, including:

  • The Riverwalk waterfalls that inspired water in the movie.
  • The Dream-Within-a-Dream of 45-minutes on a river boat.
  • The Riverwalk Baptist Church, which has banned Juno and decreed that anyone watching Ellen Page will go immediately to hell without passing Go.
  • The hostess outside Cafe Ole who looks like a Hispanic Leonardo DiCaprio.
  • The absurd dream-like vision of the Aztec Theater.

Tickets are $14.95 for adults. Not suitable for children. Mon-Fri, mornings, Sat, evenings, Sun-Wed lunchtime and First Friday to compete the dreadful art thing that happens. Continues until the shortest month.
