Jackson Pollack Memorial Unveiled
Mayor Phil Hamburger unveiled the $12mm Jackson Pollack Memorial yesterday, which was designed by Dutch Libertarian and Pharmaceutical Philanthropist, Henry Schiesse. After some building delays delayed the 2006 installation, the Mayor said he was pleased that the statue was finally viewable by the public. The status represents freedom and leans 3 degrees towards the Alamo. Within hours of the unveiling, one vehicle collided with the sculpture, which is now under minor repairs.
