Official Riverwalk Map Now Available

Official San Antonio Riverwalk Map

Mark Twain famously described the San Antonio Riverwalk as one of the country’s “four unique cities”, in which he ranked the Riverwalk as number one and excluded neighboring towns such as Austin. While Mr Twain was keenly able to navigate around the river, many visitors have been asking for an Official Map to help them follow the footsteps of the country’s most famous author.

With over 1500 businesses and attractions on the Riverwalk, it can be almost overwhelming for visitors and tourists, so we’re pleased to announce the publication of the Official San Antonio Riverwalk map, sponsored by The Dreary’s Uncomfortable Night Guaranteeā„¢. Highlighting the best places to visit has been a 3-month long project completely unbiased by our advertisers, so tourists can now stroll along the Riverwalk enjoying the crisp taste of Miller Lite in one hand while perusing a deluctable menu from Rock Hard Cafe in the other, and also holding this map in another hand, and a copy of the San Antonio Current held securely under their left arm.

This Official Map will be distributed at various points on the Riverwalk, including the Visit The Riverwalk headquarters in the Casino Club building. In order to help contribute to the environment, maps can be downloaded to the iPhone for printing, and can be shared by groups of up to four people. For groups of five, we suggest that one of the four should read the map aloud to the fifth person, or they can send an email to officialmap@visittheriverwalk.com for additional instructions.
